Shimek, in Southeast Iowa near Farmington.  It is a 1/7th mile dirt oval.

Track is set to open on 4/19/2008 with points to begin 5/3/2008. Burris tire rule will be in effect once again this year.  If you need more information you can call the track phone at 319-878-4155 or call Ben at 319-878-3772.

Shimek is located about 3 miles east of Farmington, IA on Highway 2 or 7 miles west of Donnelson, IA.  Map

Shimek has a Burris only tire rule, except for kadet karts.  I am informed racers fees are $18 per class and $8 pit pass.
