- It is with great sadness that the new year coincides with the passing of Frank Johnson, well-known in our own local karting community.  Frank left us on January 3.  Frank was a great guy and he will be greatly missed by many friends and family.  Our thoughts and prayers go to his sons Joe and Jeff, and the rest of the Johnson family.  Rest in Peace Frank, you will be missed but not forgotten!

Join us at the QUINCY MALL for the Quincy Raceways Speedway weekend March 14 - 15.  Besides seeing the local stock cars at their best (before racing season starts to tear up those decals, paint, bend some sheet metal...) you can stop by the TNT Kartways booth.  We are usually down by Sears Court in front of Aladdin's Castle and the movie theaters.  We will have karts on display, be passing out flyers, and there to answer any questions you may have about karting.

- Thanks to Quincy Raceways and Tony Rhineberger for letting us show karts.  Pictures from last year should still be posted.  I have separate photo galleries of the karts, all the stock cars, and then the pictures of kids we had in the karts.  Click on the underlined links or follow the "Photos" link to the left.

-Opening Day Pics - March 29, 2008 -  okay I'll admit, these pictures aren't great.  I did too much talking and catching up instead of many on-track racing pics.  Below Joe Johnson taking some notes from his last run.  Just click on the Joe's picture it will take you to the rest of the pictures.

- There is also another regional series that covers Midwest tracks also that several Quincy area karters run. Unfortunately TNT is not on the schedule again this year.  Route 66 series information can be found at www.route66kartracing.com .   If you attend the series please let them know where you are from and urge them to include Quincy on the their tracks for next year!
